自古有不到长城非好汉之说，今天，我们一行人怀着满怀的敬意来到北京，想到长城去了却充好汉的雄心壮志。
以前，我早就想到我们中国最具代表性的古代建筑——长城去看看了。这不，我们一行人来到了北京，正好天公作美，可以大饱眼福了!
第二天一早，我们便坐车前往令人神往已久的地方——长城。汽车还在行驶的途中时，我不禁想：长城真有那么长吗?是不是和电视里看到的一样像一条长龙盘旋在崇山峻岭之间呢?
经过了一个多小时的车程，我们终于到达了长城外，去的那天正好有大雾，这给长城蒙上了一层神秘的面纱。
哇!好多的人啊!爸爸买完了门票，我们便随着拥挤的人群，一点点地向城内逼近。啊!终于挤出来了。我长叹一声，来到了长城脚下。摆在我们眼前的有两条路，一条向东，一条向西。我们选择了向东边的八达岭。一步步地往上爬，我们在拥挤的人群里慢慢地挪动着，人实在太多了，挤得让人喘不过气。好不容易才挤到了城墙边，俯视长城下，是一片又一片的林木，莽莽苍苍，衔接的天衣无缝，你完全看不出接口，直到最后才知道这一片片的森林只不过是连片森林的`一小部分。
我们继续走着，一路上会遇见许多小城堡似的小屋子，我不禁问妈妈：这些小屋是干什么用的?呵呵!妈妈笑了起来，回答我说，这就是烽火戏诸侯里的烽火台啊!只不过这台子是在长城上，而故事里的台子是在高处，都是为了预防敌军来袭时通讯用的。我们继续往上爬，可是这长城不知怎么的，越往上走，路就越陡，越险。就好像专门与人作对似的。走着走着，我们遇到了个九十度的高坡，我埋怨到：是谁这么缺德啊?把长城修成这样。妈妈解释道，这你就孤陋寡闻了吧，那时修筑长城的计划一提出就全国轰动，可是当时的条件不好，人们为了以防敌军来袭，便连夜用糯米作凝固剂来砌的。我豁然开朗，原来当时的人们这么有办法啊。我们爬着爬着，爬到了一个起伏点，上面一块石碑上面刻着不到长城非好汉几个大字，听人说这是毛主席当年令人打造的。
啊，我终于登上了长城，我也成了一个好汉!我望着雄伟的长城不禁感叹：人生路上一定有不少的长城等着我去攀登，我也一定一个个征服它的!因为我一定能成为人生的好汉!
