我爸爸为人耿直，工作也是顶呱呱，我打心眼里佩服他。可是他有一个缺点，就是爱吸烟，妈妈和我没少劝他戒烟，他就是不吭声。有一次，我和妈妈对他讲道理，说危害，把他说得心服口服，终于从他那紧闭着的嘴里吐出一句话：“我听你们的。”
转眼一个星期过去了，没有看见爸爸再吸烟。他真的戒掉了烟?我决定考验他一下。
今天，我在爸爸的书桌上放了两支香烟，他下班回家刚进院，我就闪到了房门后，爸爸进屋发现了桌上的烟，他先拿起一支，看了看牌子，又放在鼻尖上闻了闻。看到爸爸这副恋烟样子，我失望了。突然，爸爸好象想起了什么，皱了皱眉头。然后，果断地把两支烟扔进了痰盂。看到这个情景，我一下子从门后冲出来跑向爸爸：“好爸爸，我真为你自豪!”
爸爸先是一惊，然后一下把我抱起来，一边刮我的鼻子，一边说：“小机灵，是你在考验我啊!”爸爸和我一同哈哈大笑了起来。
